This previous weekend we welcomed Llandeilo to Caeffair. Having beaten the visitors in the revers fixture by 15-14 with a penalty in the closing minutes of the game , Trimsaran would have been confident of securing the double over the visitors. 

Llandeilo came and stuck to their tactics of keeping it close and getting penalties to keep the scoreboard ticking over and chasing a first victory since 1st October, came so close leading 15-10 heading into the last play of the game. Llandeilo kicked 5 penalties whilst Trim kicked 1 penalty through Dan Griffiths and scored a try through Thomas Bonnell and a successful conversion by Griffiths.

Trims never say die attitude paid off when Number 8 Steffan Roberts scored his teams 2nd try of the game in the corner to draw the scores level at 15-15. With the referee signalling that this would be the last kick off the game , it was a big one for Center Rhodri Mason and Trimsaran. The conversion went straight through the posts from the touchline and the victory was secured for Trimsaran. 

In what was a disappointing performance from the home team and another game where discipline looked set to cost the green and blacks as Llandeilo kicked all their points from penalties but the victory was the main thing and hopefully we will see an improvement in the performance in the next game against Nantgaredig.
