Trimsaran travelled to Tumble in a top of the table clash last weekend, it was highly anticipated that this game would decide where the league title ends up this season , so it was expected to be a closely faught local derby.
The magpies had other ideas though as they run rampant and totally outplayed the green and blacks in all areas of the game as they raced into a 20-0 lead in the first half and extended that lead by the end of the game to win 37-0.
Both teams have been in superb form this season with both teams coming unbeaten from their pool stages of the National Bowl and Trimsaran only lost once up to this game in the league where Tumble had also lost once and drew 1 game.
The final result was a shock but fully deserved for Tumble who are now in the driving seat to go and win the league, Trimsarans only hope is that Tumble slip up against Bynea or Betws and we win our remaining 3 games starting next Saturday as we travel to Llangadog.
There is still plenty to play for this season though as we have qualified for the West Wales Plate semi finals. Our opponent and venue will be confirmed by the end of next week hopefully.
